Goa is what it is today because over the years we, Goans have failed to get together and see eye to eye.

On the contrary, we have taken pleasure in being highly philosophical and never found it necessary to make a common cause. We have this attitude of running another Goan down at any cost. We Goans are so smart, well educated, tactical and resourceful in finding out some way or the other of finding some way of opposing another Goan so that he might not get the credit for whatever his is up to. Goans have never used their resourcefulness for the betterment of Goa.

This has been going on for a long long time. Result? Today, people who are not fit to be our peons are ruling over us. Why? Because they make a common cause and have a common intention of ruling over us. Maybe they are not educated. So what? Of what use is the education and resourcefulness of the Goans. Look at the others. They have a trump card. They are the survivors. They can get together. In fact, they have been getting together and doing things in our land for years. And they will continue to do it. They have always been successful and we Goans have always failed.

And we will continue to fail.

We Goans write well and we speak well. Keep up the good work Goans. Keep writing. And all those who are of the opinion that they themselves need not write anything and contribute are reading every word very secretly. Some of these Goans are scared to write. Maybe somebody will criticize them for writing such rubbish. Maybe they think that they are too good and their superior writing and contributions will be lost on these miserable Goans. The Goan psyche is very complicated. It has always been and will forever be.

Ultimately, we get what we deserve. CONCLUSION is "Goans never did get together before and they will never ever get together" What a beautiful land. Such lovely people. REALITY is that True Goans and Goa are on the verge of extinction. There will be a Goa. Maybe it will be renamed GOMANTAK. Maybe the inhabitants of the land "Goa" or "Gomantak" will be called Goans just because they are the inhabitants of the land. Will all the KHORE GOEMKARS who are spread all over the world, maybe UK, USA, Germany, Canada, Gulf Countries, Australia, New Zealand and wherever, feel sad about this situation? On the contrary there will be many who feel that the Goans in Goa are quite ordinary. After all, they have been smart. So smart that they are now in a foreign country.

And my dear friends, the circus goes on. Very soon we will not know whether it is a circus or a zatra. Slowly things do not mean anything. That is why I say " GOA IS TODAY WHAT GOANS HAVE MADE IT TO BE" But I will forever ask myself this question "WAS IT SO DIFFICULT?" And I know that every time I ask
myself that question, the answer will be " OF COURSE NOT, WE GOANS ONLY FAILED TO GET ON WITH EACH OTHER"
