The World - a single family

VOZ DE GOA AFONSINA

Eu nasci nesta terra do Baco forte,
mas Tua Luz herdei,e hoje sou Teu
redenção do Povo é meu único norte,
ora vou andando ao caminho do Céu.

Derramo meu sangue sobre nova cabeça,
Ulisseia ! Lisboa ! Tudo recomeça.

A nobreza Afonsina restaurará
o reinado de Ulysses além e cá.
Ulysses, viço exuberante, no porvir,
fará o bom LUSOFONO sempre vencedor.

Finalmente resurgirá o homem-vir,
caracterisado pelo luso-vigor,
satisfeito, alegre, sempre a sorrir,
o bem estar dos outros seu maior valor.

É assim que chegaremos ao mundo novo,
a inteira humanidade um só povo.

AFONSINE VOICE OF GOA

I was born in this land of Bacchus strong
but inheriting light, I am all yours;
To right the unrighteable wrong
I walk forward towards the First Cause

Anointing again - and now it is you
Ulysseia ! Lisbon ! Old plans anew.

Now Afonsine rule shall restore
The reign of Ulysses here once more
Ulysses, future living sap
Will the LUSOPHONIC a winner make

Hero-man let out of the trap,
rising as his shackles break.
Happy, contented, full of PEP
he rejoices as others wake.

And thus it shall forever be -
the world a single family.
