Lies by crooks to protect crooks

It is shocking to see how highly educated teachers could so easily be  manipulated by orchestrated propaganda of lies by a few individuals with vested interest and become wild animals charging at innocent persons. It was shocking to see how a large number of so-called upright educationists were silent fence sitters, watching the Roman circus of wolves in teachers' clothes tearing to pieces reputations and peace of the innocent because they did not want to get into trouble with others by opening their mouth.

When opportunists lead savages and fence sitters, when their Unions become the mafia, teaching cannot remain a 'noble profession'. Feudal lords claiming
holy rights to enjoy fruits of daylight robbery and a majority ready to take up the case of crooks and make them saints after cowardly deaths, cannot guarantee a civilized society with rational order and based on Rule of Law.

If you are you a College or University teacher (or a citizen) who joined UCTAG meetings and morcha, braying for 'justice' to late Dr. Naik, and believed the accusations against the so-called 'trio', then you should now feel stupid and hang your head in shame. Do you have the guts to do anything more, to atone for the shameful spectacle of teachers ignorant of facts, but dogmatic in their borrowed convictions about the matter, and to seek accountability of your UCTAG leaders, so that in future this does not repeat? (Never mind if your thick conscience does not make it necessary for you to do anything about the mental torture to the three persons).

You have been fooled and taken for ride by some old teachers and their collaborators in newspapers, to cover their cheating of huge sums of public money and other misdeeds. They made you cry over Dr. Naik's death and nicely set you against those whom they feared for exposing their rackets.

The natural sympathy for the dead was fully exploited in a disgraceful show. First, ignorance of he facts and stubborn refusal to ascertain the facts; second deliberate distortion of truth and repeated lies; and third drama of bogus emotions and tears. Our learned men and women were made a mob of Taliban fanatics wanting blood of 'chosen enemies', in a well-planned conspiracy to target those who followed the Rule of Law and did their duty.

Was Dr. Naik really 'harassed' by anybody? Or was he himself guilty of wrong doing? Did any 'trio' kill him, or did his own advisers and today's sympathizers mislead him, and after that leave him alone to be caught?

The saintly looking teachers and leaders of their Union did not need the real truth on this because they had cooked up their own version. In a fanatical thirst for blood they just wanted to finish the 'trio'.  They made it a holy crusade, since they saw and showed to others that it as their duty to Morality and to God's will, to avenge Dr. Naik's death. There was no need to check facts or law when the power of numbers, muscles and shrill voices was on their side. Where there is Faith, Reason is out – on this principle of 'fundamentalist Morality' they had to boycott those who think and they had to ban their 'pseudo-ethics'.

'Professors' & 'Doctors'  so-called men and women of learning and  scientific temper, intellectuals who should understand and judge without being blinded by greed, teachers to set example to youth – became insane and hysterical by blindly believing that Dr. Naik was a 'good' man who died due to poverty, harassment, desperation etc. because pension was not sanctioned by "persons whose character cannot be liked". This is their 'TRUTH' (and NO EVIDENCE for it, only cooked up theories) spread by pious men and holy mothers. That was enough for the 'educated' teachers and their Unions to act in most irresponsible manner and pass apartheid like boycott resolutions and perform processions and macabre 'death dance' on the streets.

See carefully again why or how all this happened. When Dr Naik committed
his shameful act, some old Lecturers/Readers (who were earlier Demonstrators  & Tutors, like Dr. Naik himself) saw in his death great potential for their own cause of protecting ill-gotten gains. Thus they whipped up passions by planting stories and versions of facts and by making allegations against persons who "were not liked" – the chosen enemies.

Quickly, forces of their Union UCTAG were mobilised and without wasting time
on any fact finding work, they delivered the final judgment and marked the 3 GUILTY for destruction. Assistant Director (Central Education Zone) Mrs. Liana  Menezes, Philosophy Lecturer A.C. Afonso, and social activist M.K. Jos were 'tried' without defence. Demands for quick arrest by Police and harsh punishment at once, were made. In monkey style, the mob also demanded that there must a CBI Inquiry.

A vicious campaign of vilification through press was launched to paint the 3 GUILTY persons as 'bad characters' and questions about their private lives and families were raised in public. Bullies among the teachers issued threats of physical harm. One with a funny shrill voice went on shouting madly in the corridors: "We must crucify him" (the gentleman, not a Christian, was in a holy mood of Good Friday a week away). It is said that a few predicted with a expectant glee that, after this 'mental battering', at least one of them or from their families will commit suicide.

In this display of jungle mentality there was no normal decency, Natural Justice, Human Rights and opportunity to defend which is granted even to the worst criminal. But in the name of justice, our champions of principles and mothers of charity came down to levels of beastly cruelty with big mouths, in order to protect their 'Scales' & 'Fixations' by projecting Dr. Naik as a martyr. Nobody asked why Dr Naik, with all his degrees and with enough means of livelihood, had to commit suicide if his Pension Case was well in order.

The hidden goal of the campaign is to protect those living who are also cheats like the dead. The rights of cheats who eat quietly and 'harmlessly like ants' must be guarded at all costs. UCTAG, hijacked by Mafia Morality, had no other choice.

This is the tragedy of our education, this is the tragedy of our teaching profession (never mind the agony and trauma of those falsely implicated and
deliberately targeted, and of their families, including children).

Who is really guilty? Should one decide this without facts and on the basis of personal likes and dislikes? Those behind this dirty campaign for 'justice' to Dr. Naik are clearly afraid of facts, although shamelessly they are not afraid of doing injustice to others. Are they ready for an open hearing with those whom they accuse? If there is any honour and dignity left, teachers should ask themselves what the facts case are and demand explanation from their leaders and Unions. Those who are not yet corrupt should stand up to the crooked few and clean up the profession.
