One of the biggest tragedies of all time is the number of people who have killed or have been killed in the name of Religion. 

It is ironic that every single religion preaches peace & love, and yet so called warriors of every religion continue to oppress and kill people of other religions.

Those who commit these acts of violence can never represent religion. They only represent their own selfishness, hatred and unmitigated prejudice, in absolute opposition to basic precepts of every major religion.

Hypocritically, each one of these violent and oppressive individuals behaves like the Pharisees from Israel. These unadulterated hypocrites proudly pronounce that theirs is the ONLY TRUE religion and theirs is the only righteous life.

Only wish that their actions would match their oh! so pious pronouncements.

One day, we maybe be stopped in our tracks by a maniacal mob... to be confronted with the question.

"What's your religion? Same as ours? or different like theirs?"

And our lives will depend on our answers... and their religion!

Yes, I do pray. I believe in God. I love Jesus.  I love Krishna. I love Allah. And I love Buddha. And I believe they are all  the same.

However, what organised religion actually propagates is communal division, terrorism, violence, strife and superiority complexes.

I certainly don't believe in  that.

Religion has been placed above human discussion and reasoning. Blind faith is being touted as one of the main tenets of the followers. In such a scenario clever ploys become easier to be introduced with often undesired and unexpected results.

Instead of religion being a beacon of light, love & compassion, it has been reduced to an instrument of hatred and terror. Suspicion has replaced trust, & the followers of one order or sect have been pitched against the other ......... for what purpose?
